Point System 2026
Championship Point System & Regulations
1. INDIVIDUAL DRIVER CHAMPIONSHIP
Title: American Champion (by Class)
1.1 Classes
Points are awarded separately for each class:
X1, X2, X3, X4, X5
Each class has its own independent championship standings.
1.2 Point Allocation – Final Race
- Championship points are awarded only based on the Final Race finishing position.
- To score points, a driver must start the Final race.
- A driver does not need to finish the race to score points if: The number of starters in the Final is lower than the number of point-paying positions. In this case, the driver is classified according to their last recorded position.
No points are awarded if a driver:
- Does not start the Final race (DNS).
1.3 Penalties & Time Adjustments
If a driver receives a time penalty (e.g. penalty seconds):
- The penalty is added to the final race time.
- The driver’s final classification is recalculated virtually.
- Points are awarded according to the adjusted finishing position.
- All other drivers behind move up accordingly.
1.4 Double-Header Events
- Events defined as Double-Header Rounds consist of two race days.
- The Final Race result of Day 1 automatically determines. The starting grid for Day 2 (acts as qualification).
- Day 2 proceeds normally from grid to Final.
1.5 Combined Class Races
If multiple classes race together:
- All drivers compete in one shared grid.
- Overall finishing order is determined by track position or lap time, regardless of class.
- Championship points are awarded separately per class, based on each driver’s position within their own class.
1.6 Championship Scoring Rule
- Only the best 5 event results count toward the final championship standings.
- This allows drivers to: Miss some events, Recover from DNS, Still compete for the championship title

2. TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
POWER CUP – Technology Teams
2.1 General Principles
- Teams compete in a separate championship classification.
- Team points are earned across all official sessions: Qualifying, Heats, Final races.
2.2 Team Point Calculation
- For each class (X1–X5), only the two best drivers score team points.
- Team points are calculated as Sum of the 2 best Driver results per class, per event + Fastest Lap Bonus in each class
This rewards: Team depth, Consistency, Technical preparation
2.3 Fastest Lap Bonus
A team earns 20 bonus points if any of its drivers sets the fastest lap of their class in any official session (Qualifying, Heats, or Final)
2.4 Team Championship Philosophy
The more competitive drivers a team enters, and the higher they consistently finish, the stronger the team’s championship position.
Teams earn points throughout the entire season from each official round; therefore, every event is important for the teams.
